HAND DRAWING
& PAINTING
Sometimes creativity needs to make a mess.
Drawing and painting are my cathartic release from the precision of digital creation. There is something grounding about feeling a pen drag across paper, erasing until the surface wears thin, mixing the wrong color, and letting the process get gloriously messy.
Digital tools make it easy to undo, refine, and perfect. Working by hand asks me to embrace the marks I cannot take back, the smudges, uneven lines, and happy accidents that give the work its humanity.
It is where I stop counting pixels, get paint on something I probably shouldn’t, and create simply for the joy of making.
